Born in São Paulo.  Graduated from University of São Paulo Law School (LL.B.); New York University School of Law, Master in Comparative Jurisprudence (MCJ); specialized in Trademark Registration and Protection and International Commercial Law.  Large experience in industrial property as Senior Legal Analyst for Altria Corporate Services, Inc. (formerly Philip Morris Management Corp.) from 1989 – 2005.

Member:  Brazilian Bar Association – São Paulo Section; Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc.; New York University School of Law; Alumni Committee.
